When considering the value of your WEB site you need to consider your market, the communications channels your potential clients use and how they approach those channels. Senior citizens and young teens have differing behaviors, beliefs and experiences that influence how they approach information. Each will have varying experience with the internet and what they appreciate in art, music and layout. Soft sophistication may be the rule for seniors and hot bright and active may be the style of the teens. It is similar for other markets as well whether you are focusing on men, women, sports enthusiasts or foodies. What is needed is a marketing campaign that targets your specific audience and a series of images, animations or text that attracts their attention and develops the problem, solution and sale.
The marketing plan must adapt to the interent. You need to know the compeition, page ranks, links, back links key words, semantics and how to attract your audience. Search Engine Optimization is one more step in the marketing process that completes the circle. It is not a action that happens once, but an activity that must be taken on and maintained. It is an on-going process of research, analysis, evalutation, modification, updates, communication and possible investments. Yes you may need to invest to earn a return.
It is not something that happens overnight. Your WEB site will not jump from 131,224,312 on the page rank to 1 overnight, it may never hit number 1, but traffic from the right clientele could be rising daily as information and interest is shared around the internet. Most important may be the design of your WEB site and the information within so that when clients arrive they stick around and return. Next is the number of visits not the Google or Yahoo page rank. You can have lots of visits without thier support if your WEB site is being activitly marketed on popular sites your clients visit. And then Ranking may be of value, but which key words will a prospective client select to search, you cannot be ranked number one in all potential variables of words and word orders.
The interent is a great place to market, but it is not the only place. It is also a good place to offer presentations, support training and offer support servcies, but by itself even with Search Engine Optimization it may not be enough. Search Engine Optimization is something we do and do well, but it is only one aspect of marketing, like sales calls, glossy stock and trade shows you do not forego one for the other.
If you need Search Engine Optimization we are here to help, but before we invest your hard earned money we want to make sure you are on track and have a solid footing. You do want what is best don’t you?

Hello Gavin, thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. I dropped by your WEB site, it has a nice appearance and looks interesting. One thing we often forget to mention is the interest Google and other search engines place on spelling and sentence structure. Search engines look at weak editing as a sign of weaker support for the site. This is a problem for all of us. When I edit and find 10 errors, I assume there are at least half that many errors left. If I find one error I assume there are .5 left, rounded up that equals one still left. If sounds excessive, but that is what it takes to build a solid WEB site.
I spend time writing material for WEB sites, articles, and books. The credibility of the writer can be destroyed by too many errors. The reader expects a lot of us and search engines are an even greater critic.
More difficult still is the myriad of languages on the internet and those that must interact in a second language. Companies often turn away from poorly structured sentences or material that does not make sense. The English language is one of the toughest. And marketing means not only writing accurately, but telling stories, soliciting attention and swaying decisions. Where to place words in a sentence now become an art as you pull the reader in sharing insight, emotions and possibly developing empathy.
Pictures may be worth a thousand words, but just one too many typos can undo it all.

What is a capta code? Can anyone provide me plug in for this one. Thanks in advance

A capta code is a graphic image that BOTs (computer programs simulating human inter-action on the internet) have difficulty reading, where humans can often discern numbers or characters in the twisted or abstracted characters. By using capta code for WEB site input BOTS cannot overloading your comments/input. Some WEB sites like this one do not use capta code not yet feeling the impact of spam or hackers (yet).
BOTs are also used to expand SEO efforts by placing responses on numerous WEB sites automatically that point back to their hosts WEB site. The messages are often garbage or nonsensical in relation to the WEB sites conversation/topic. If you accept message on your WEB site, at the very least read the messages before approving them and that includes checking out the back link.
In this instance the back link is to a site that discusses marketing strategies that could be consider controversial. How far you stretch in your marketing efforts may get you that traffic you want, but may not garner the reputation you desire. We all battle those that abuse the internet and we all fight for our position, but must not become part of the problem. Miss-leading headlines may catch our attention as do the publications at the checkout counter “Man with two heads speaks out of both sides of mouth”, but once we see them for the ruse they are we also rank them accordingly do not by them or the products they endorse, not a good image for a WEB site.
You can get the routines for capta code from a number of places over the internet, just search for capta code. One I prefer is http://www.captcha.net/. They offer good code, decent instructions and provide a global service when users type the two graphic messages. One is a string of characters that validate you can read the material and the second helps transcribe material in books where computers have had trouble. It is a large project to digitize books for libraries, a worth-while cause.
The question posed here is trival and more than likely from a BOT since the phrase capta code in Google pops up numerous references to the question (Wikpedia included) and sources for the code.
I leave the above comment as an example of how not to gain a good reputation.

I really will have to get out of my virtual world a bit more and also quit losing a large percentage of of my morning logging hands in poker on myspace or facebook for the reason that in recent times i have been not been able to get up to date in regard to this. Despite the fact that I cant suggest that I wholeheartedly concur with each and every word, its nice to digest some intelligent commentary as an alternative to the routine crap I see floating all over the internet.

A quality link building service should be a team of experienced people. Not just that, adequate and extensive knowledge of the industry will result in success or failure. For example, someone without good knowledge will think that metatags matter in on-page seo or that reciprocal linking is still efficient when it isn’t.

Your right that is why companies often turn to professionals. SEO and SEM are a lot of work and require commitment. Often a company will see it as a part time job. What they fail to recognize is the internet is a live a vibrant environment and the competition is not standing still. As competitors position themselves they are also watching their ranking and are ready to make changes to win back or keep their position. SOE and SEM are critical tools to a popular and well received WEB site. On its own a WEB site may never be found. People often thing to have a WEB site is to be discovered. Where a WEB site can be status symbol and can demonstrate commitment and may be a show piece you invite customers too, any other interaction will not exist without more commitment of time and effort. I have several WEB sites that are classrooms, students find them through their organization, the sites are not intended to receive traffic from other sources, by design they are not marketed.
Just like a car, as great as they are, they will not go anywhere without gas. You will get no further than what you put into it whether “it” is a car or WEB site. Determine what the intent of your WEB site is, if it is a marketing tool and it needs traffic you need SEO and SEM.
